I really, really like Samuel Adams Summer Ale, I also quite enjoy Samuel Adams Winter Lager, the Nut Brown Ale, and the Hefeweizen. But I DO NOT like the White Ale or their flagship Boston Lager. I haven’t yet tried their other beers.

Tonight, I had a Tucher. Very nice hefe indeed. Had something of a taste of citrus, but still very good.

Today, I tried an Edelweiss. This is an unfiltered wheat beer with a good, but not great, taste.

Sleeman Original Dark 50* Amber Ale

Trying a Canadian tonight. My first beer is a Sleeman Original Dark 50* Amber Ale. It’s a rich, reddish-amber color. As you sip it, there’s a sharp taste of hops that quickly disappears and is replaced by a very smooth flavor. Very nice.

Tonight, after a bit of shopping for new CD’s, I went home and had a Sierra Nevada Wheat. I think this is my favorite domestic wheat beer.
