According to &lt;em&gt;Signs and Symbols in Christian Art&lt;/em&gt; by George Ferguson (Oxford University Press), "The 'horns' of the miter are reminders of the rays of light that came from the head of Moses when he received the Ten Commandments and are also symbolic of the Old and New Testaments."

		<description>Kevin,this is an informative piece for RCIA, adults and children.  Thanks for the information.  I wish I could remember the reference I came across a couple of years ago that said the two points of the miter represent the Old and New Covenants.  Did you ever hear that explanation?</description>
