Is that good? Bad? Is it a valid assessment?

Beowulf will be released in theaters next week. I must say the trailers make it look interesting, but will the movie itself be good?

Well, at least I won’t be biased from previously having read the book, because I haven’t.

This was a little strange, to say the least.

232 years ago today, on November 10, 1775, the Continental Congress formed the Marines with the Continental Marine Act. That very day, the Marines’ first and only Commandant, Samuel Nicholas, set up the first recruiting station at Tun Tavern in Philadelphia.

Happy Birthday to the Corps. Semper Fi. And a big Thank You to anyone who ever served in any of the armed forces.
