Work Continues
Since I didn’t have to work on Monday, I spent the day with my father pre-fabricating the window and door headers. We’ll take them out to the site when the time comes to frame up the walls. By manufacturing them now, when we cannot work at the site, we’ll save time later. And saving time when it’s really cold out is a Good Thing™.
Yesterday, they dug the footings.
Today, they installed the sump, put down the gravel, and poured the footings. Pictures below.
