Tasers

There have been so many taser-related deaths recently, that anyone who thinks will see that they are misclassified as “non-lethal” weapons. A taser is most definitely NOT non-lethal. The use of a taser against a human being needs to be classified as the use of lethal force, as is the use of firearms. If a police officer would not use a firearm in a certain situation, then neither should that officer use a taser.

The astute reader will note that I’m calling ONLY for a change in police training. I am not calling for a ban or a restriction on the devices. After all, the Second Amendment protects a citizen’s absolute right to keep and bear arms.
