NASA has named its next-generation moon lander Altair. I know it’s the name of a star, but it just sounds so geeky.

This beer is a mass-produced pale lager. It even has that distinctive stinky smell that American mass-produced pale lagers have. However, the Japanese do pale lagers right. Their attention to detail and efforts to capture German brewing techniques really shows through. It had a nice head, and a slightly more golden color than the typical American pale yellow. It was richer, and the finish was not over-hopped. If I were in Japan and someone offered to buy me one of these, I’d accept.
