Sleeman’s Porter 68

A small head, a subtle aroma, and a very pleasant taste. That’s how I’d characterize this Canadian Porter.
Sleeman Brewery’s Porter 68* isn’t smokey. It appears that the emphasis is far more on dark malts than pushy hops. There’s some real character, but I don’t know if I’d go so far and say that the taste is complex.
Bottom line, I liked it.
