I was listening to the vote on the radio. Every vote that I could hear was “yes” on the article of impeachment. So he’s no longer governor. The new governor is Pat Quinn. In a few minutes the Senate will vote on whether to bar him from ever holding office in Illinois again.

Update: Yes, the vote was 59-0.
Update 2: And the vote to bar him from holding office again was also 59-0. I went out to celebrate with a co-worker. We went to the Dublin Pub, where I ate a Philly Steak Pony Shoe, and drank some Newcastle Brown Ale.
