This is kind of an old story, but I just came across it. Seems that in China, the remains of an early mammal were found with its last meal still in its stomach … and that meal has been identified as a small dinosaur. Read the story here.

Scientists searching for fossils in the Andes have discovered the 18 million year old remains of an ancient relative of the armadillo. In life, Parapropalaehoplophorus septentrionalis was about 2.5 feet long and weighed in at 200 pounds. As impressive as that is, it’s nothing compared to a later relative. The Glyptodon, another armadillo relative, which went extinct a mere 10,000 years ago, was 10 feet long, and weighed 2 tonnes.

Yahoo News has an article about a mummified dinosaur that may have been able to outrun T Rex. The muscles, skin, and possibly some internal organs fossilized along with the bones. Seems Hadrosaurs were more muscular than previously thought.

New Ceratopsian Dinosaur Discovered

Paleontologists in Alberta have discovered a new ceratopsian genus. This dinosaur, which was given the name Eotriceratops xerinsularis, is the earliest and largest known member of the Triceratops group.

According to researchers, Eotriceratops likely reached eight or nine meters from nose to tail. It had a massive skull that featured a solid frill (this alone was three meters in length), and three horns - two above each eye, and another, shorter one, perched on its nose.
